Director & Lead Consultant

Oliver brings a rare mix of 35 years of experience working with volunteer organisations, full-time for over 20 years, founding organisations (Attac, WeMove Europe, Investigate Europe) and at the same time the skills as a data scientist and programmer. In my time at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, I published a scientific article (peer-eviewed) with an application of neural networks more than 20 years ago.1

In his spare time, he volunteers with Médecins Sans Frontières, serving on the German board and in the organisation’s International General Assembly.

Oliver has been passionate about using data for social change in the non-profit sector for many years. He has been able to use his passion and knowledge in this area many times: At Attac, at Doctors Without Borders, at WeMove Europe, at Investigate Europe and most recently in his role as Chief Financial Officer at Wikimedia. Since 2023, he has been focussing entirely on this area.

“Because I believe that I can make a difference here with my specific skills and because I enjoy it.”

Oliver speaks his native German, English and a few words in French. He lives in Berlin and Bielefeld.
